LaVerne is the vice president of marketing of Tego Inc. She leads the company’s go-to-market strategy for the Asset Intelligence Platform (AIP). LaVerne also oversees all integrated communications and champions the company’s mission to enable things to “tell their story” at the edge of the IoT ecosystem. LaVerne has more than 15 years’ experience as a marketing consultant focusing on strategic planning, market analysis, and product management across complex industries such as healthcare and aerospace. LaVerne holds an MBA from the Olin School of Business at Babson College and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. LaVerne previously worked at Partners Healthcare and BioBehavioral Diagnostics Company. LaVerne found her entrepreneurial footing early when, as a teenager, she owned a pool maintenance company that grew to four employees and 110 weekly customers.
