Justin joined Bainco in 2005 and currently serves as Chief Investment Officer. He oversees all investment decisions at the firm with a focus on asset allocation and portfolio construction. Justin works with the firm’s internal research team on integrating the investment team’s bottom up individual security analysis with top-down macro-economic analysis. In addition, he and the team monitor concentrated positions for clients, providing updates on the companies and strategies for managing the holdings.
In addition to overseeing the investment process, Justin is responsible for the due diligence surrounding many of the client’s private investments. He is currently the lead analyst on a private investment in Tego Inc., a high-tech company focused on developing RFID tag technology. He also serves on the Museum Council Steering Committee and is a Museum Council Patron at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Prior to Bainco, Justin worked with Tourneau and Shreve, Crump & Low, retailers of luxury watches and fine jewelry.
Justin earned a B.S. in Chemistry and Economics at Boston College. He is an Investment Advisory Representative, a Certified Financial Planner™ professional, and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
